Oviyas Design Studio is a Chennai-based creative design studio helping businesses transform ideas into engaging visual and digital experiences.

What started as an individual freelance design practice has evolved into a multidisciplinary design studio working across UX UI Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, Branding, Product Design, Digital Experiences, Animation and Creative Communication. The Meaning Behind “Oviyas”

The name Oviyas is inspired by the Tamil word “Oviyam” (ஓவியம்), meaning Art, Painting or a work of visual expression. For us, the name represents more than traditional art. It represents the idea of transforming:

  • A thought into a visual language.
  • A concept into an experience.
  • A business idea into a brand.
  • A problem into a simple, meaningful design solution.

Rajkumar, Founder of Oviyas Design Studio, brings more than 25 years of experience in Graphic Design, Web Design, UX/UI Design, Product Design and Animation.

His career has evolved alongside the transformation of digital design, from traditional graphic communication and websites to modern user experiences, digital products and AI-powered design workflows.

As a designer, mentor and entrepreneur, Rajkumar has worked across diverse design disciplines and business environments, bringing together creative thinking, technology, user experience and business understanding.
